Introduction: What is the CCP
I wish to avenge myself against the One who rules above.

In the post-Cold War era, many considered communism a defeated relic of history. Yet a disturbing reality is: the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has not only endured but thrived for over a century, ruling China for 75 years.
In the West, CCP’s China is often viewed favorably as a source of cheap goods. However, the devastating COVID-19 pandemic—originating from the CCP’s Wuhan virus lab—served as a harsh awakening, prompting many to ask: What is the CCP?
The perception varies. Some see the CCP as agrarian liberators; some see them as a normal political entity; some see them as a geopolitical competitor; some see them as a bunch of bandits and thugs of an mafia-like criminal organization. But as a Christian who lived in China under CCP’s rule for 50 years, I aim to shed light on a deeper reality: from a biblical perspective, I would argue that the CCP is, in essence, a modern embodiment of Satan.
Though communists profess atheism, their ideology embodies a rebellion against God. Karl Marx, founder of communism, once wrote in his youth, “I wish to avenge myself against the One who rules above.” The root of communism traces back to the serpent in the Garden of Eden, whose envy of God sparked a desire for vengeance against the Almighty.
My five decades under CCP’s rule exposed me to its unrelenting oppression and pervasive deceit, leading me to believe firmly that the CCP is the red dragon, the Satan described in the Bible’s book of Revelation.
Therefore, it is crucial for the free world, especially Christians, to recognize the evil of this regime and act decisively against it to defend freedom and civilization.
Chapter 1: CCP is the Red Dragon in Revelation
Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.
Revelation 12:3
In the book of Revelation, the Bible describes “an enormous red dragon .” This dragon seeks to devour and destroy, symbolizing a force of pure evil that opposes God’s truth and seeks to dominate the world. The CCP, with its totalitarian regime, ruthless persecution of Christians, and ambition for global control, aligns with this description.
The CCP has consistently attacked religious faith, demolishing churches and crosses, imprisoning pastors, and rewriting scripture to align with its ideology. It seeks to replace God with the state, positioning itself as the supreme authority. This embodies the spirit of the red dragon—a power that sets itself against God and demands absolute allegiance.
Also, it is no coincidence that the dragon is a significant symbol in Chinese culture, representing power and authority, and is one of the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac, celebrated during lunar festivals, including the Chinese New Year and the Dragon Boat Festival.
Finally, the Bible specifically describes the dragon as “red,” a color that symbolizes bloodshed and oppression. The CCP’s flag is bright red, fitting for a regime responsible for the deaths of tens of millions. This alignment between the red dragon and the CCP’s symbolic color further supports the identification of the CCP as the modern-day red dragon.
Chapter 2: CCP is the No.1 Mass Murderer in Human History
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
John 8:44
Jesus once warned that “the devil was a murderer from the beginning” . Nowhere is this more evident than in the blood-soaked history of the CCP. From the Great Leap Forward to the Cultural Revolution, to the Tiananmen Square massacre, and the latest bio attack of COVID-19, the CCP has caused the deaths of tens of millions of innocent people. Its crimes surpass those of any tyrant in human history, making it the world’s most prolific mass murderer.
Mao Zedong, one of the founders of the CCP, once claimed, “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” Under his leadership, tens of millions perished from starvation, torture, and execution. The CCP has never ceased its campaign of brutality—it continues to use violence and intimidation to maintain control, silencing anyone who dares to oppose it. This unrepentant shedding of innocent blood is the hallmark of Satan’s work in the world.
Almost every family in China has suffered from the CCP’s brutal rule. My own family is no exception. My grandfather was executed simply for being a landlord after the CCP took power in 1949, and two of my aunts starved to death in infancy during the late 1950s. Yet people rarely speak of these tragedies, gripped by fear of persecution. The CCP’s reign has brutalized the entire Chinese population, leaving scars of trauma and silence.
How Many People Has the CCP Murdered?
The estimated death toll ranges from 65 million to over 500 million. The highest estimate accounts for the following major atrocities:
- Great Famine (1958–1961): 70 million
- Cultural Revolution (1966–1976): 20 million
- Forced Abortions (1980–2016): 400 million unborn and born babies
- Tiananmen Massacre (June 4, 1989): at least 10,000
- COVID-19 Pandemic (2020–2023): 28 million (worldwide, including over 1 million Americans)
Due to the CCP’s secrecy and strict information control, only God knows the exact number of lives slaughtered by its regime. But regardless of the varying estimates, one fact is irrefutable: the CCP stands as the world’s No. 1 mass murderer. No other entity, not even Hitler’s Nazi Party or Stalin’s USSR, approaches this scale of human devastation.
What is crucial to recognize, however, is that behind each appalling number lies a real person, just like you and me, who lost their innocent life to the satanic force of the CCP.
Chapter 3: CCP is the Father of Lies
In the latter part of John 8:44, Jesus describes Satan as “a liar and the father of lies.” The CCP, too, thrives on deception. It rewrites history, censors truth, and spreads propaganda to maintain its power. The CCP lied about the Tiananmen Square massacre, the origins of COVID-19, and its human rights abuses. It lies to its own people, to the world, and even attempts to lie to God by reshaping religious texts.
The CCP’s propaganda machine is unparalleled, controlling every aspect of information in China and manipulating the narrative internationally. It uses lies to cover its atrocities and to present itself as a legitimate government, while in reality, it is a regime built on falsehood, repression, and fear. Its deception is a direct reflection of Satan’s nature—a power that cannot stand the light of truth.
Top Lies by CCP
Among the many falsehoods spread by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the following are among the most notorious:
“The People’s Republic of China”
The CCP labels its regime “the People’s Republic of China,” but in reality, it is a “communist dictatorship.”
“To Serve the People Wholeheartedly”
The CCP claims its mission is “to serve the people wholeheartedly,” but its true objective has been to enslave and kill the people relentlessly.
The Great Famine as “Three Years of Hard Times”
The CCP refers to the Great Famine as “three years of hard times” caused by natural disasters. In reality, this was the greatest man-made famine in history, resulting from Mao’s disastrous “Great Leap Forward” and “People’s Commune” policies.
Deng Xiaoping’s “Reform and Opening Up”
Under Deng Xiaoping’s “Reform and Opening Up” policy, the CCP misled the West—especially America—into believing that integrating China into the global economy would encourage it to adopt free-world values. Yet, after four decades of engagement, it is the free world that has become more like communist China.
Xi Jinping’s “Core Socialist Values” of “Democracy” and “Freedom”
Xi Jinping’s “Core Socialist Values” include “democracy” and “freedom.” In practice, however, the CCP’s true tenets are “tyranny” and “enslavement.”
COVID-19 Origin
The CCP claims COVID-19 originated from wild bats at a wet market in Wuhan. However, evidence suggests that the virus has been released from the CCP’s Wuhan lab as a possible bio-weapon.
Chapter 4: CCP is the No. 1 Enemy of America
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has always perceived the United States as its primary adversary. In May 2019, People’s Daily, the most authoritative publication in Xi’s China, declared a “people’s war” on the U.S . This enmity is not merely a matter of political rivalry or geopolitical competition; it is rooted in fundamental ideological and spiritual differences that make reconciliation between the two nations impossible.
For the CCP, America represents not just a competing power, but the embodiment of the values and freedoms that threaten its own authoritarian rule. The United States is a nation that has long stood as a “city on a hill,” a symbol of hope, liberty, and the principles enshrined in its founding under God. The vision of America as “One Nation, under God” and its foundation on Christian values stand in direct opposition to the CCP’s model of absolute control, deception, and suppression of truth. This ideological conflict is not merely political; it is, at its core, a spiritual battle between good and evil.
The CCP’s disdain for America is not only because it challenges China’s rise as a global superpower. It is rooted in a deeper contempt for the very spiritual principles America embodies. While America’s founding values are based on the belief in God-given freedoms, human dignity, and inalienable rights, the CCP adheres to a doctrine that denies and seeks to undermine these truths. Its Marxist-Leninist ideology is steeped in atheism, yet, beneath this proclaimed atheism lies something more sinister—a rebellion against God, a desire to corrupt, and a mission to deceive.
For this reason, the CCP is not merely opposing a geopolitical rival—it is engaged in a spiritual warfare. The Bible describes Satan as “the father of lies” and “the deceiver of nations,” and it is precisely through deception and oppression that the CCP seeks to advance its goals. In its pursuit to discredit and weaken America, the CCP employs tactics that mirror the serpent’s strategy in the Garden of Eden: distorting truth, sowing doubt, and promoting rebellion against God’s design.
To this end, the CCP has adopted a multifaceted strategy aimed at weakening the United States from within and challenging its leadership on the global stage. From intellectual property theft to cyber espionage, from economic manipulation to spreading disinformation, the CCP is relentlessly working to exploit America’s vulnerabilities. Through initiatives like the Belt and Road, the CCP is gaining economic leverage and expanding its influence, while at the same time sowing discord among Western alliances to diminish America’s global standing.
Beyond these overt actions, the CCP also employs more insidious tactics to undermine America’s social and cultural fabric. By infiltrating American institutions, co-opting media outlets, and exerting influence over universities and corporations, the CCP seeks to erode America’s confidence in its own principles and sow division among its people.
But it is vital to see this conflict for what it truly is: a battle between light and darkness. America’s fundamental identity as a nation under God has made it a bulwark against tyranny and evil in the world. The CCP’s objective is clear: to weaken America to the point where it can no longer stand as a beacon of freedom and opposition to tyranny. This existential struggle is not just about power—it is about spiritual survival, the preservation of a system that stands in stark opposition to everything America represents in the eyes of those who believe in liberty, justice, and the sovereignty of God.
In this context, the United States must recognize the gravity of the threat posed by the CCP. The stakes are not merely economic or geopolitical—they are existential and spiritual. The CCP’s determination to undermine America is not a matter of policy but of survival, making the threat all the more pressing and urgent.
This is a spiritual battle—a war between the forces of darkness seeking to spread deceit and oppression, and the light that seeks to uphold truth and freedom. America’s struggle against the CCP is, at its core, a continuation of the ancient battle between Satan and God. And in this battle, recognizing the spiritual dimension is crucial if the free world is to defend not just its political integrity, but its very soul.
Chapter 5: What Can be Done to Slay the Red Dragon
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:10
With unprecedent violence and deception, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has enslaved over a billion Chinese citizens and amassed vast economic and military power, becoming a true leviathan. But as Revelation foretells, the red dragon will one day be vanquished by the archangel Michael, condemned to burning hell, where justice will be served for every life it has murdered and every crime committed.
In this ultimate battle between good and evil, here are actions that can be taken to weaken the CCP’s power and, ultimately, to slay the red dragon:
What Western Governments and Organizations Can Do
Decouple from Communist China
Economic decoupling from China is crucial. Reducing dependency on Chinese manufacturing and supply chains will not only protect national security but also weaken the CCP’s grip over other nations. Prioritizing goods from countries that uphold freedom and human rights rather than authoritarian regimes is essential.
Like the “Great Whore of Babylon” described in Revelation 17, the CCP intoxicates the world, bribing leaders and merchants with blood money and sex. Mao Zedong, the founder of the CCP, once told the U.S. National Security Adviser Henry Kissinger in 1973 that China offers to deliver 10 million women to the US. The free world must cut ties with this source of evil before it’s too late.
Say No to “Made in China”
Every purchase is a vote. By consciously avoiding products labeled “Made in China,” consumers reduce financial support that strengthens the CCP. Supporting domestic products or those from democratic nations empowers economies rooted in freedom and human rights.
Under CCP’s rule, all Chinese are slaves, and all “Made in China” goods are slave goods—cheap at the expense of human suffering and environmental degradation. Lenin once said that capitalists would “buy the rope from us to hang themselves.” Let us not make the same mistake. Banning “Made in China” stops us from funding an adversary that seeks to destroy our way of life.
Tear Down the Great Firewall
The CCP’s control over information through the “Great Firewall” is a cornerstone of its power. Promoting and supporting technology that enables Chinese citizens to access uncensored information is essential. Governments and organizations should provide content and platforms that bypass CCP censorship.
The CCP does not represent the Chinese people; it brainwashes and enslaves them. That is why it spends massive resources monitoring its own citizens.
Growing up, I learned about democracy, the evils of communism, and the Gospel through shortwave radio broadcasts from VOA and BBC. In today’s digital age, we must dismantle the Great Firewall, just as Reagan once declared: “Tear down this wall!”
Investigate and Punish Useful Idiots and CCP Spies
The CCP relies on extensive infiltration networks, using spies and influence agents to manipulate public opinion, politics, and policies abroad. Governments must thoroughly investigate and hold accountable those who knowingly or unknowingly advance the CCP’s agenda, including spies, lobbyists, and compromised officials.
Educate the Public About the CCP’s Evil
Awareness is the first step toward action. Educating the public on the CCP’s crimes—its oppressive tactics, genocidal actions, and subversive operations abroad—fosters a culture that resists CCP propaganda and infiltration into democratic institutions.

The CCP may appear formidable, allying itself with other dark forces like Putin’s Russia and stockpiling nuclear weapons. But as people of faith, we know that no weapon formed against God’s purpose can prevail. As Romans 8: 31 assures us, “If God is for us, who can be against us?”
This is a call for all Christians to stand strong and unshakable, equipped with the armor of God, in this ultimate confrontation between light and darkness, freedom and oppression, good and evil. This battle transcends politics and borders; it is a spiritual conflict for the soul of humanity, and we are each called to play a part. Though the forces arrayed against us may seem terrifying, we are not alone in this fight. We are empowered by the knowledge that God Himself stands with us, fighting on our behalf.
When we face evil with courage and conviction, we become part of God’s plan to expose and defeat it. Just as He has done throughout history, God will bring about justice, truth, and freedom. The dragon—the embodiment of evil—will be cast down and destroyed. We can hold fast to this promise, assured that the victory is already written, and God will fulfill His covenant to slay the dragon and free His people.
In the face of the CCP, the red dragon, let us draw strength from our faith, knowing that each step we take in defense of truth and freedom moves us closer to God’s ultimate victory. Let us stand together, bold and unwavering, answering this call to defend freedom and slay the dragon, assured that, in the end, God’s light will prevail over all darkness.
